Time commitment notice: RAs will enroll in LPPS 5590 (Research in Leadership & Public Policy) or PSYC 3590 (Research in Psychology) for either two or three credits. If you enroll for two credits, we expect you to commit seven hours to the lab each week. If you enroll for three credits, we expect you to commit ten hours per week. Do not apply if you will not have room in your schedule for JADE Lab.
Undergraduate Student Opportunities in Academic Research (USOAR) Program
JADE participates in the USOAR program, which pairs students with labs. USOAR is for rising first-year, second-year, and transfer undergraduate students who have no prior research experience and are eligible for Federal Work Study. You can read more about USOAR on their website.
Please note that recruitment through USOAR is a separate process from our typical application cycle (when students apply directly through our website). Some years we may recruit via both methods, and other years we only recruit via USOAR.

CITI Training: All research assistants complete CITI training (online module for ethics training) as part of their onboarding. Students do NOT need to complete CITI training before applying through USOAR.
